UV incident

 

A Biospherical Instruments PUV-500 spectroradiometer was used to monitor incident ultraviolet irradiance from March 1997 through September 1998. The instrument has five channels: 305 nm, 320 nm, 340 nm, 380 nm, and PAR (photosynthetically available radiation - a weighted average from 400 nm to 700 nm). Once a day the instrument was releveled and was wiped free of frost and fog. The instrument was calibrated at the end of the experiment.
