ESRL JET Availability

Management plans to revisit computational and storage
allocations on the Jet machines in Boulder. Please update
your project applications and/or submit new applications
by August 8th. Please bear in mind that hJet with over 2000
cores will be part of the new allocation. If all goes
well iJet will likely be decommissioned in the fall.

In summary the Jet systems will have approximately
double the current capability in total (eJet+wJet+hJet).

wJet and hJet CPUs will have comparable compute capabilites
while eJet's CPUs are 50-70% of the capability of a wJet CPU.

To submit or update applications see:

Jacques Middlecoff and Leslie Hart
