SSM/I derived product images have been produced globally between 45S and
45N for the period from May 2, 1997 through the present.  These files have
been broken into two sectors.  The GEWEX Asian Monsoon (GAME) sector extends
from 0 to 180E and the Pan-American Climate Studies (PACS) sector extends from
180 to 360E.  The products have been binned into 0.25 by 0.25 degree
latitude/longitude grid, which is the approximate resolution of the raw
SSM/I observations (~30km).

pacs_clw -> SSM/I cloud liquid water images for PACS sector
pacs_wvp -> SSM/I water vapor images for PACS sector
game_rn2 -> SSM/I rainfall images for GAME sector
game_clw -> SSM/I cloud liquid water images for GAME sector
game_wvp -> SSM/I water vapor images for GAME sector
