Administrative Assistant Rachel Lazcano joined PSL in October 2020 and supports PSL's HOP, HMA, POP and BLO teams. Rachel’s federal work experience began when she worked as a Student Pathways intern at the National Park Service for five years supporting the Fire and Aviation Division. After working there, she began working at NIST for three years supporting the Applied Physics Division. When an opportunity to move to California to support a Quantum Physics Professor at Stanford University presented itself, Rachel jumped at the opportunity. After two years working there and exploring California, she missed Colorado. She moved back in 2018 and began working at Ball Aerospace as a Manufacturing Planner.

Rachel received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography at the University of Colorado-Boulder.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys hiking, reading and playing tennis.
