HRC Atlas - Revision of October 1998
The original 1971-1983 HRC Atlas has been updated to include two additional
years of HRC data for 1984-1985. Accordingly, twenty-four additional maps
have been added to Part III, and the maps in Part I and Part II have been
revised to reflect the longer time period. References in the text to 13
years, 1971-1983, and 156 months have been changed to 15 years, 1971-1985,
and 180 months, respectively. Table 1 has also been revised to include
equatorial crossing times for the 1984 and 1985 data. Special thanks to
Don Hooper, Michael Timlin, and Roland Schweitzer of the Climate Diagnostics
Center for regeneration of the atlas maps for this electronic edition.
