Travel Information
ACCOMODATIONS:
Below are hotels that are within walking distance (1-1.5 miles) of
the NOAA Boulder Labs and offer government rates. Please check
tripadvisor.com
reviews so that you know what to expect. The Millenium has been
undergoing renovations, which are scheduled to be completed by early May.
There are many very nice hotels in Boulder, but most are further away or
exceed government per diem rates. Please see the maps for bus
routes from the central bus terminal to the hotels and walking distances to
NOAA.

TRANSPORTATION
Getting to Boulder from Denver International Airport
- Rental Car [Directions/Map to Boulder]
- RTD Skyride Bus: Cost is $13 one way (cash only), departing the airport approximately once per hour [Route AB Westbound Schedule]. Local Bus information is below.
- Super Shuttle: Cost is $33 one way. The shuttle will take you directly to the hotel, but may make drop-offs in between so the schedule is variable. You can book in advance at www.supershuttle.com.

Local Bus: Cost for the Local Bus is $2.25 each way, exact change required. Transfers should be requested upon boarding. You may also purchase
Local 10-Ride Ticket Books for $20 at the RTD Sales Counter in the Airport West Terminal Level 5, or in advance online.
NOTE: Online tickets must be ordered by 8am MDT on 8 April and will be mailed by 11 April. The Airport Sales Counter is only open from 8:00-5:30 pm during the week and 8:00-4:00 pm on weekends.
Bus schedules are subject to change, please check RTD website shortly before
arriving.

- Walking: Suggested routes from the closest hotels to NOAA are below. On the first day, please check in at the Visitor Center before proceeding to the David Skaggs Research Center.
